Green Olive Tapenade
A simple and delicious green olive tapenade.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups (250 grams) pitted green olives
3/4 cup (100 grams) slivered almonds
1 tablespoon capers
8 anchovy filets (or to taste), oil packed
olive oil
Instructions
Put all the ingredients except the olive oil in a bowl and mash with a plunger mixer and then add the olive oil until it is the desired consistency. The original recipe says to finely chop the olives and almonds together. Put the anchovies, olive oil, and the capers in a mortar and mash to a paste then add to the olive mixture.
