This is a delicious and unusual entree that is a meal in itself.

Feel free to use fresh grean beans or make your own hash brown pototoes. The frozen products just make it quicker and easier.

Mixed Grill

Broiled lamb chops and sausage with potatoes, green beans and fruit.

Ingredients

1 package frozen hash brown potatoes
4 loin lamb chops
3/4 inch thick
1 package (9ounce) frozen French green beans with toasted almonds
1 ripe avocado
1 large orange
1 can pineapple slices
1 package (1/2 lb) brown and serve sausages Italian-style
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons salad oil
2 teaspoon chili sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Instructions

Preheat oven to broil.
Sauce:
Mix the soy sauce, salad oil, chili sauce and prepared mustard thoroughly in a mixing bowl.
Start cooking potatoes as directed.
Arrange lamb chops on the rack of the broiler pan. Brush with some of the soy mixture. Broil 3 inches from heat, 6 minutes.
Start cooking green beans as directed.
Cut unpeeled avocado and unpeeled oranges into quarters. Drain pineapple slices.
Turn chops. Place avocado and orange quarters, 4 pineapple slices and the sausages on rack with chops. Brush all generously with soy mixture; broil 3 minutes. Turn sausages and pineapple; brush all again with soy mixture. Broil 3 minutes longer, or until chops are done as desired.
Arrange on platter and serve.
Add almonds to green beans, serve potatoes.
